The 20 Trecenas of the Sacred Mayan Calendar
Over the course of the last cycle (260 days/roughly nine months), I have written an article on each of the trecenas—and a quick summary of the energy of each day within them. Each trecena is ruled by the energy of one of the 20 nawales of the sacred Mayan calendar.
I began, fittingly, with Kawok (the trecena of rebirth) and continued through to Kame (the trecena of death and transformation). However, the calendar cycle begins with 1 Imox, so the list below does as well.
Here they are, in an easy-to-access format:
- Imox Trecena ~ 13 Days of Creation and Dreams
- Ix Trecena ~ 13 Days of Earth Magic and Feminine Power
- Kej Trecena ~ 13 Days of Spiritual-Physical Connection and Wilderness
- Ajpu Trecena ~ 13 Days of Divine Human Experience and Golden Light
- Aj Trecena ~ 13 Days of Home and Family
