Today, 11 Ix invites us to embody the wild feminine power of the jaguar, channel creative energy intuitively and without restraint, and recognize that our magic is most potent when we stop trying to control it and allow it to move through us freely.

One of my all-time favorite things to do is to lead yoga retreats. When a retreat comes together, I feel the magic of intuitive teaching and my lifelong love of yoga flowing through me. Each group or one-on-one retreat is distinct. Each time, it feels like the best one yet. Meaningful connections are created; laughter and tears are shared. I come away feeling that I have inspired the attendees and have become more inspired myself through a week spent immersed in practice, ceremony, and heightened mindfulness.
Yet for months, I haven’t felt inspired to plan any new retreats or even to promote the ones I have on the docket. Maybe I’ve been too overwhelmed with other work obligations. Maybe I feel discouraged by a lack of interest or registrations. Maybe I am just exhausted.
That voice saying I’m lazy and worthless is exhaustion and low self-esteem speaking.
Today on 11 Ix, I will spend time visualizing myself leading and co-leading retreats once again, in the flow, connecting with my personal magic and the magic of Mother Earth. The magic of yoga and the magic of the Mayan calendar.
