8 Tijax – Healing Rituals for Letting Go

Today, 8 Tijax invites us to create ceremony around our healing, compassionately and intentionally cut away what no longer serves, and recognize that in the act of sacred release, we create wholeness and bring harmony to all parts of ourselves.

Essential Questions:

  • What healing ritual do I need to perform?
  • What do I need to cut away with compassion and clarity?
  • How can I honor the wholeness that comes through letting go?

“Defiled or immaculate, increasing or decreasing—these concepts exist only in our mind. The reality of interbeing is unsurpassed.” ~Thich Nhat Hanh, Gatha for using the toilet

I am letting go of a need to perform.
I am letting go of people pleasing behaviors.
I am letting go of saving the world.
I am letting go of grudges and resentment.
I am letting go of the insatiable need for instant gratification.
I am letting go of lies.
I am letting go of procrastination.
I am letting go of disgust.
I am letting go of self-doubt.
I am letting go of minimizing my feelings.
I am letting go of worry.

I am cutting away what no longer serves or benefits.
I am cutting away what is not essential.

I am living fully in each moment.

Maltiox, Nawal Tijax.
