Ajpu is the energy of the Sun, the radiant, golden light of Source that illuminates our path, reveals our deeper purpose, and invites us to shine our authentic gifts into the world. This nawal carries the essence of the hero’s journey, the sacred warrior who weaves spiritual insight and earthly responsibility into a life of integrity, vision, and devotion. Ajpu embodies both the divine and the human: we are spirit incarnate, live our dharma fully, and let our light blaze without the shadow of ego dimming its radiance. The 1 brings the pure energy of the seed, beginning with renewed intention, and starting fresh with clarity and purpose.
Today, 1 Ajpu serves a powerful portal for beginning anew: to plant seeds of purpose, recommit to your sacred purpose, let your inner sun shine, and trust that you are divine.
This morning, just before sunrise, there was a lunar eclipse. A Virgo full moon disappearing into shadow, then reemerging into light.
As the moon completed her journey through darkness back into illumination, the Sun rose. 1 Ajpu. The golden light of Source. The hero’s journey beginning again. New seeds planted. New intentions set.
Viva synchronicity!
Today I am recommitting to my pranayama practice first thing in the morning. Before the day pulls me into its demands. Just me, my breath, and sacred space.
I am feeling pulled back to a plant-based, whole-food diet. Back to vegetarian eating, away from animal protein. This is not judgment or doctrine. It is simply what my body is asking for. A lighter way of being. A cleaner fuel for the inner fire. A return to eating from the earth, for the earth, with the earth.
Virgo energy is practical, embodied, devoted to service and purification. The eclipse in Virgo reminds: Tend your vessel. Honor your body as the temple it is. Let your choices reflect your values.
I am letting my inner golden light shine through practicing and teaching yoga and mindfulness with joy, enthusiasm, and devotion. Because this is my dharma. This is what my soul came here to do.
Ajpu carries the paradox of being both divine and human. The hero’s journey moves in a spiral. We return to lessons again and again, each time with a little more wisdom, grace, and light.
I plant these seeds: breath, devotion, alignment, light. I trust that what I tend with love will flourish.
Maltiox, Nawal Ajpu.
