April Showers Bring May Flowers

https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/2.0/legalcodeHappy April to my fellow fools!

It’s a new day, a new month, a new season. Let’s take a deep breath of fresh air and be grateful for the spring, for Mother Earth, and for our lives, experiences and relationships.“Be grateful to everyone,” as the Tibetan Buddhists teach.2015 has been designated as “The Year of Soils” and May 3 will be International Permaculture Day.Here in Panajachel, Guatemala, I’ll be celebrating by hosting a yard sale benefiting benefiting Mujeres Oxlajuj E.  It will be a perfect day to come together as a community and celebrate spring, abundance and amaranth, thanks to our farmers. If you can’t make it to the yard sale but would like to help out in your neck of the woods, please consider having your own yard sale or bake sale in solidarity. Or, if you have no yard, no time or no interest, please consider making a small donation to the cause here.
