We Are Intelligence

We are all designed with the intelligence to feel sensations and emotions and to interact with each other and the environment through our senses. And yes, we can think and reason, though I think intelligence is more than being intelligent or having intelligence. What do you think? How do you define (or describe) intelligence?Even if intelligence can be measured then the IQ Test, or any test, it is only one way to measure it. Actually, it’s only one way to measure one type of intelligence. According to Howard Gardner, there are multiple types of intelligence: musical–rhythmic, visual–spatial, verbal–linguistic, logical–mathematical, bodily–kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, naturalistic and existential. How do you, your students or your children demonstrate different types of intelligence?Have you heard of emotional intelligence (EI)?Regardless, no one just possess one of two or even three of these; we "have" at least that many types of intelligences.Define a new type of intelligence. Name it. Describe it. Develop one way to express, not measure, the _____________________ intelligence. Really, it's not about what we or theorists think about intelligence. It isn't about how intelligent we think we are either. We are more than we think; intelligence is more than what we think; it’s how we feel, process and interact with the world around us. Intelligence isn't something we have or do not have; it is a process that happens through us. We are intelligence.
