Close your eyes and imagine yourself standing at the summit of a great pyramid. You have climbed to the top. Your legs are tired, but your breath is steady. Look down the steps you’ve climbed—see the path that brought you here. Now turn and look out in all directions. From here, you can see everything—the paths you’ve walked, the roads you didn’t take, and the journeys still ahead. Bask in the clarity of this elevated view. Rest here. You have earned this perspective. Trust that the road will reveal itself step-by-step when it’s time to walk again.

Only now I am older and wiser, a matriarch in training with a maiden daughter as my travel partner

The soles of my feet know the path home
