7 Kawoq – The End of the Storm

Kawoq is the rainstorm, the cleansing force of nature that creates sacred space for new life to be born. Kawoq is the midwife, Grandmother Turtle who teaches patience, grace, and the wisdom of moving slowly with intention.

7 brings us to the top of the pyramid—a place of elevated perspective, rest, and 360-degree vision—opening clear communication with the sky and cosmos and empowering us to see all the opportunities and paths laid out before us.

Today, 7 Kawoq asks us to pause at the apex and look at all the options before us, avoid rushing into things, be patient as we weigh our choices, and trust that the storm is over.

Guided Meditation for 7 Kawoq

Close your eyes and visualize yourself standing at the summit of a mountain, storm clouds parting around you. Below, the rain has washed the landscape clean. Notice what has been cleared away, what fresh green is beginning to grow. From this height, you can see in all directions: paths amd possibilities spreading out like spokes of a wheel. Breathe here. There is no rush. Like Grandmother Turtle, you move with patience and grace, trusting that the right path will reveal itself in time.

How I Saw Her

She was luminous, shining from within.
She was sitting on the floor
Graceful and comfortable
Writing in a notebook with her left hand
She was alone and complete in her solitude
She had a soft smile on her lips and a serene gaze
She put down the pen and paper
And sat up a little taller.
Then, in a cloud of glittering smoke, she transformed into a tiny green and purple hummingbird and flew away without a word.
She left behind this poem.
