11 Tz’i – Loyalty, Love, and Integrity in All Directions

Tz’i is the nawal of unconditional love, loyalty, trust, and justice represented by the faithful dog who guards the threshold between worlds, protects what is sacred, and embodies devotion that asks nothing in return. This energy also governs the power of our word: how we manifest our reality through language, the sacred responsibility of speaking truth, and the importance of having integrity between our thoughts, words, and actions. Tz’i teaches us about right relationship: the balance between giving and receiving love, the courage to trust even when we’ve been hurt, and the spiritual discernment to know what and whom to protect with our fierce, loyal hearts.

The 11 brings challenge, resolution, and the necessity of working through complex problems. It is a day that tests us, pushes us to think deeper, and asks us to integrate disparate pieces into coherent understanding.

11 Tz’i invites us to work through the challenges in our relationships with courage and integrity, align our words with our values, speak truth even when it’s difficult, and protect what is sacred while maintaining the loyalty and love that grounds us.

The depth of our talk matters.

Superficiality is so cliché. The fakey-false tone of voice trained into us as girls. Be nice. Be socially acceptable. Don’t cry. Don’t get mad. Maintain the facade always of perfection, friendliness, smiling. Small talk. How are you? Fine.

What we need now is the medicine of Tz’i. The word. The willingness to speak the truth. Our truth. To stand up for what’s right. To speak out for the vulnerable and protect and bolster the underdogs.

The ugly truth about the USA is in our faces. The karma of stolen land, genocide of the native Americans, 200 years of African slavery, and the continuation of oppression and slavery that is the system of politics, imprisonment, pharmaceuticals, religion, education, the media. The epidemic of crime, mass shootings, isolation, desolation.

I don’t have the answers to these complex problems.

The number 11 brings challenge, the need for resolution, the necessity of working through what feels impossible to untangle.

I can only offer my own light, my own loving heart, devotion, and integrity. These are the words I have to share today.

Not solutions. Not fixing. Not saving.

Just speaking truth. Showing up. Protecting what is sacred. Loving unconditionally, especially when the world feels too on fire to bear.

This is the work of 11 Tz’i: the medicine of the faithful dog who guards the threshold and refuses to look away.

Maltiox, Nawal Tz’i.
