Today, 8 Kame invites us to
- perform a ceremony or ritual for the ancestors and spirit world,
- celebrate the infinite cycle of birth, death, and transformation, and
- ask: what is life but infinite birth, death, and transformation?
Mastery is knowing there is no mastery.
Thank you, Great Mystery, for my life and existence.
I have more mastery than I give myself credit for.
It’s not about the number of years of practice and teaching, nor the number of hours of formal training, nor the certifications.
Mastery is more about the informal practice: daily life from moment to moment.
How we relate to the past and future while living in the eternal now. How we breathe. How we hold ourselves. Our posture. Our position. In whatever situation, condition, location, or circumstance.
Mastery is being able to see beauty in all beings and all things.
Mastery is making our life the ritual, the work of art, the miracle, the gift.
Mastery is letting go of knowing what is good versus bad, right versus wrong, success versus failure.
Mastery is to stand in the center of north, east, south, west, above, and below and to live from the heart.
Maltiox to the ancestors, the wisdom teachers, the spiritual friends. Gracias Nawal Kame. Thank you.
