My journey with the sacred calendar
The sacred Mayan calendar found me in 2012.
Since moving to Lake Atitlán that fateful year, I’ve had the profound privilege of studying with traditional Mayan spiritual guides as well as Western scholars in the field, and participating in (and interpreting) hundreds of fire ceremonies. For over a decade, I’ve studied and lived with the energies of the sacred count of days.
What began as curiosity transformed into a deep calling. I’ve offered personal readings to seekers from around the world, helping them understand their life path through this profound, ancient wisdom system.
This work is a sacred honor. Each reading is an opportunity to bridge the living Maya tradition with modern seekers who are ready to remember and reconnect with what is truly theirs.

What is the Cholq’ij?
The Cholq’ij (sacred calendar) is a 260-day count that has been used continuously by the Maya for over 3,000 years. Unlike the solar calendar we use today, it tracks sacred time and the spiritual energies that flow through each day.
20
nawales (day signs), each with its own concepts, elements and archetypes
13
numbers, each carrying specific energetic qualities
260
unique day combinations (13 × 20)
The day you were born carries a specific nawal and number. This is your personal day sign: your cosmic identity and soul purpose.
Your Mayan Cross
Beyond your birth sign, you have 3–4 additional signs that influence different areas of your life:
Past sign
Your childhood and teenage energy, early life lessons, connection to ancestors and parents
Future sign
How you’re growing into your destiny, plus a bonus “Future Elder” sign for people over 50
Right hand
Masculine energy and male relationships: work, challenges, physical self
Left hand
Feminine energy and female relationships: emotional, creative and intuitive self
Together with your main nawal, these signs create your complete Mayan Cross, or Tree of Life.
Frequently asked questions
How does this compare to Western astrology?
The sacred Mayan calendar operates on a completely different system than Western astrology. While Western astrology is based on the solar year and planetary movements, the Mayan calendar follows a 260-day count. Your Mayan energy is focused on your soul purpose and how to live in harmony and alignment with it.
I’ve never heard of my Mayan birth sign. How do I find it?
You can calculate your day sign here using your birth date. I’ll also send you your complete chart before our session, so you’ll have time to familiarize yourself with your signs.
Can I get a reading for my child?
Yes. Many parents find Mayan readings helpful for understanding their child’s natural gifts, challenges, and how to support their development. For children under 12, I recommend the parent be present for the reading.
What if I’m skeptical?
That’s completely okay. I encourage healthy skepticism. Think of this reading as a mirror for self-reflection. Take what resonates and leave what doesn’t. Most skeptics are surprised by how accurate and practical the insights are.
What payment methods do you accept?
PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, and bank transfer. Payment details will be provided after you submit the booking form.
What if I need to reschedule?
Life happens. Just let me know at least 24 hours in advance and we’ll find a new time that works for both of us.
I’m interested but not ready to book. Can I ask you questions first?
Of course. Send me a message or WhatsApp +502-3298-0158. I’m happy to answer any questions before you commit.
